Well, it happened...at 5 1/2 months Jackson cut his first tooth. I really wasn't ready for this yet. Cooper was a "late bloomer" and didn't cut his first tooth until 9 months. I guess I just assumed Jackson would be the same.
I've already noticed many subtle differences in my boys, even at such an early age. They look SO similar, but SO different at the same time! And, even though Jackson is still a little baby, his little personality is emerging and it is much different than what Cooper's was at this age. It will fun and interesting to see how my two boys grow to be individuals. Part of me can't wait and the other part of me wants them both to just slow down so I can take it all in. The time has already gone by way too fast for me.
If you haven't heard the song, "You're Gonna Miss This" by Trace Adkins....well, you better go listen to it and keep a tissue close by. It's a song that gets stuck in my head quite often nowadays and it's so true....
Anyways, back to the tooth bud--it's a sharp little thing!
