Yep, once again I am late posting pictures. Coop finished his T-ball season in mid-June. We are still unsure if he really enjoyed it or not. He always complained about going to practice and the games, but once he was there he had a lot of fun with the other boys. Kyle was at every practice and every game and became one of the Dad coaches. He was known as the "Next Up Guy" because he hung out in the dugout and got the kids in order to go bat. He would yell out, "Next up...." and the name stuck!! Honestly, I think Kyle enjoyed T-ball more than Cooper! The games were actually a very humorous event for all the parents. Inevitably there was always a child who ran the opposite direction, someone got hit (not that that was funny), kids were seen sitting in the outfield making grass volcanoes or using their mits as hats and facemasks, many times the entire team ran after the ball if and when it was hit (causing a major pile-up), the kids looked like miniature bobble heads, little boys ran to trees to pee, kids ran out to the stands mid-game because they wanted to sit with their mommies, and the list goes on! In any case, we all cheered and yelled for all the children and it was nice to see that no one got "out" and each child got to hit the ball and run the bases--a great first experience for us "first timers" in the land of baseball. We're not sure if Coop will want to do T-ball next year, but now he wants to try out soccer. So, here we go again!
